I’ve been quietly (and not-so-quietly) building this business over the past year—turning what started as a side hustle into something that could maybe, one day, be my full-time thing. I’m talking barrettes made by hand at my kitchen table. No dropshipping. No bots. No mass production. Just me, a little pot of resin, some mica powder, and an absolutely ridiculous amount of rhinestones.

This week, I hit a couple milestones:

Both are small steps, but they’re big in the way that matters. They say: I’m here. This is real. I know it’s wild out there right now. The internet is full of scams and noise and AI (no offense, ChatGPT), but I want you to know Ann Gabriel is real. I’m a real woman building a real business, and every barrette you see was made with my own two hands.
